He will <br /> brush up on it over the next few weeks, and he will have it noted to take next steps. This is <br /> something we should be subscribing to for answering people's questions. We should be <br /> looking at zoning and working alongside the Tribe to strategize at a high level. <br /> Ms. Geoffrion would like to change the wording of the bullet about providing AHC with training, <br /> wording it differently so it doesn't sound like the Committee is informing the Committee. She <br /> proposed the AHC will seek training and technical support as necessary, to ensure members <br /> are equipped to fulfil duties. <br /> Mr. Sparkes added the Town Planner was instrumental in arranging for the speakers. <br /> Mr. Tutor expressed a desire to have representatives from Tribal Housing come speak to this <br /> Committee. Periodically, we can host outreach to the community. He said this is an excellent <br /> contribution and he is in favor of adopting the document with changes. <br /> There was an inquiry about Regional Housing and the expectation of this Committee. Chair <br /> Sparkes explained their focus is on Mashpee housing, but education pertains to Cape Cod and <br /> all of Massachusetts. There are some regional initiatives, such as Joint Base Cape Cod and <br /> proposed housing on base. The HPP has strategies for regional housing initiatives. We all <br /> share in the problem. <br /> Chair Sparkes thanked Ms. Lanzillotta for all the hard work and support she has provided. <br /> Extracting the AHC was a good adjustment and resulted in a good document leaving this <br /> Committee with a good starting point. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Dick Putterman made a motion to accept the AHC guiding documents with <br /> changes.
