<br />Select Board <br />Minutes <br />June 22,2026 <br /> <br />Vote: 4-1 <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-no <br />Selectman Richardson-yes <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />(This space is reserved for topics that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate would be <br />discussed) <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />The Center for Active Living will hold an open house on July 17 at 9:00 AM to introduce its <br />new name and logo. <br />Selectman Richardson reported that the Christ the King Food Pantry has served 125 <br />families in the past week. <br />WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br />TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br />The Town Manager provided an update regarding correspondence received related to <br />Trader Joe’s. The Town Manager noted that the Town has received a significant number of <br />messages, with the majority expressing support for the project. The Board discussed <br />whether members would prefer to receive the correspondence electronically or as hard <br />copies. It was agreed that a combined PDF of the submissions would be provided to the <br />Board. <br />Selectman Weeden commented that he understood a portion of the correspondence may <br />have come from individuals who are not Mashpee residents and noted the importance of <br />being mindful of which constituents the Board is serving. <br />The Town Manager provided an update regarding ongoing construction activity on Route <br />151 and concerns raised by local businesses. The Town Manager stated that the <br />Department of Public Works had been asked to notify the State that the Town respectfully <br />18 <br /> <br /> <br />
