There is a large pile of soil there that is
creating dust, which is one comment she will provide for them, to control their dust better. They
were working on house construction, starting the houses first, which is out of the norm. There
needs to be temporary stabilization of those stockpiles, whether they cover them, spray with
water, or temporary seed.
NEW BUSINESS
Planning Board Vacancy
There is an advertisement for the vacancy on this Board in the newspaper and on the Town
website. They will
need to have a Public Hearing of discontinuance of two parcels that were never built and the
elimination of a paper road. There is no plan of record he can find, but is mentioned in several
deeds, references made to an old road never built. This will make two parcels usable and he
asks the Planning Board consider approving the discontinuance of that road.
Ms. Faulkner asked if it could be identified. Mr. Rowley stated you wouldn't even know
something was there, no evidence of it ever being cleared.
Mr. Tobin commented about several phone calls into the department, as there are other paper
streets, it might be beneficial to bring visuals and be able to demonstrate what that looks like to
the public.
Ms. Waygan asked about that land.
15
